Shoko.

Did you know that if you say “gullible” really slowly it sounds like orange. Shoko came for brunch and then we hung out and talked in my room. We went to the kitchen and told her the gullible joke. Courtney was laughing in the background.

Bryce visited us at our apartment, it was his first time at our home. We talked about his great accomplishment of being one out 10 people being accepted to a prestigious PhD program at Stanford (out of 700+ applicants). Courtney cooked an amazing beef pot pie and I brought home soul food from Harlem. Bianca and Dan watched the Knicks beat Lakers (and they were upset) earlier in the evening. It was a great night of good company, great food, and great conversation.

Open Eyes.

The first thing I saw when I woke up today. On Thursdays I go into work at 10 a.m. and today I woke up at 7 a.m. I laid in bed, with this in sight, for almost an hour. I ate watermelon too. A great way to start my morning!
